Medical Device Reprocessing

Most hospitals only disinfect sensitive medical devices used repeatedly such as colonoscopes, TEE probes and thousands of other items. Disinfection means there will be cross contamination events from reused devices. The Sterile State System78 provides sterile devices that are only disinfected today. Our patented nitric oxide system will raise the standard of practice from disinfection to sterilization, long sought by the FDA. Regulatory approval is in process.

Tissue Sterilization

Many types of tissue used in surgeries are processed with antibiotics today. The Sterile State System reduces sterilization time by as much as 50% without degrading tissue characteristics. Notable are tendons used in knee reconstruction procedures. Use of radiation damages the tendons while the Sterile State System does not. This system eradicates TB and can cause donor tissue to be used that is currently rejected. Looking for a potential partner to exclusively license the technology for this field of use.

Bandages & Wound Care

The SterileState wound covering bandage produces antimicrobial action for days to weeks. The system need not be in contact with healing skin and no moisture is required. Labor associated with dressing changes are reduced along with the episodes where a wound can be contaminated during bandage changes. There is no risk of antibiotic allergic reaction exists as no antibiotic chemical is involved. Looking for a partner in the wound care – bandage arena.

Medical Devices and Treatments

Dozens of indwelling medical devices can include the Sterile State system. The material will be both preventative and curative. Many types of catheters would reduce or eliminate post-surgical infections using the natural antimicrobial agent already generated by nearly every living cell, just in a different amount and location.

Testing establishes certain epidermis and dermis problems can be eliminated with a Sterile State material. Bacteria, viruses and fungus problems can be effectively treated with specialized Sterile State materials.

Pharmaceutical Sterilization

Many companies have problems sterilizing pharmaceuticals. Our system provides a solution without residuals or nitrosamines. Recalls will be resolved.

Consumer Products

Athletic gear including shoes, skates, boots, can become unpleasantly odor generators. The Sterile State system is highly effective in preventing those odors. Hunting gear, hockey equipment, and locker rooms can be targets using the system. Hundreds of uses are being developed and licensed.

Food Preservation

The SterileState System reduces the potential for food product recalls as the antimicrobial action functions at 2 degrees C without light (in refrigeration) and at room temperatures. Shelf life is extended; food poisoning events are reduced/eliminated. No nitrites are involved. Works without any changes of appearance or taste of vegetables, fruits or proteins. Looking for a partner in the food preservation business.

Agricultural Applications

The Sterile State system shows great promise in defeating bacterial problems resulting in loss of fruit in cherry and citrus orchards. Problems other systems exhibit such as a wax-like substance on the branches that inhibits the action of are not an inhibition with our system. Testing continues this spring.

Mold Prevention and Remediation

Specialized SterileState materials will inhibit or eliminate mold problems. Common black mold prevention and treatment is an area of focus. Testing continues and product forms are in development.
